Self-catering Apartments in France for Couples ~ Farmhouse in Burgundy
CONTRACT OF HIRE
The contract is between the hirer and the owner of the property, MRS J J MOSEDALE. The contract comes into effect when the hirer receives written confirmation of the booking; the hirer then becomes responsible for the total rental of the property for the period booked. The booking will be confirmed on receipt of the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £100 or €150 per apartment per week. Telephone bookings will be held for 72 hours only. The balance is to be paid on arrival at EN LA MARRE in EUROS (CASH) or EURO TRAVELLERS CHEQUES (NOT CREDIT CARD). BOOKINGS MADE LESS THAN SIX WEEKS PRIOR TO HOLIDAY MUST BE PAID IN FULL WHEN RETURNING THE BOOKING FORM.
CANCELLATION
Notice of cancellation IN WRITING must be received not less than 12 weeks prior to the start of the rental period. If a cancellation is notified less than 12 weeks before the rental period the hirer will be liable to pay the balance due unless the period can be re-let.
LIABILITIES
The use of all accommodation and amenities is entirely at the hirer's risk. Security of vehicles, baggage and personal belongings is the responsibility of the hirer at all times and the proprietor can accept no liability for loss or damage to any car, its contents or any personal property whilst on the premises, nor for any accident caused during the use of the swimming pool, tennis court or whilst on the property.
HIRER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
The hirer is responsible for the property during his stay and is expected to take all reasonable care of it. The apartment and all equipment, utensils etc. must be left clean and tidy at the end of the rental period. Any breakages or damage to any part of the property must be reported and paid for (NOT REPLACED). Any malfunction within the apartment should be reported immediately.
HOLIDAY INSURANCE
THE HIRER IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE OUT COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE WHICH INCLUDES CANCELLATION, PERSONAL BELONGINGS, PUBLIC LIABILITY, ETC.
